eMemory Receives TSMC IP Partner Award Four Years Straight

Hsinchu, Taiwan (Oct. 02, 2013)- eMemory, the global leader in embedded non-volatile memory (eNVM) announced today that it has received TSMC’s 2013 IP Partner of the Year Award from TSMC for the fourth year in a row. This award recognizes eMemory in such areas as technical support, customer service and continued innovation. eMemory is the only Silicon Intellectual Property (SIP) supplier in Taiwan to receive the honor for the fourth time. The presentation was made during TSMC’s Open Innovation Platform® Ecosystem Forum held in Silicon Valley on Oct. 1, 2013.

The IP Partner of the Year Award consists of four major categories – Interface IP, Analog/Mixed Signal IP, Foundation IP, and Specialty Embedded Memory IP. The selection standards include a number of criteria, such as customer feedback, adherence to TSMC9000 IP compliance, technical support, service capabilities, and the number of IP used.

eMemory President Rick Shen pointed out, "Based on the long-term partnership and collaboration between eMemory and TSMC, I am very honored that we have received TSMC’s IP Partner of the Year Award four years straight. It represents positive feedback for eMemory and a high level of confidence from customers in the quality of eMemory products, technology, and services."

"eMemory provides a comprehensive IP portfolio that meets TSMC9000 IP compliance,” said Suk Lee, TSMC Senior Director, Design Infrastructure Marketing Division. “The company received consistently high appraisals for technical support and customer service, so we are pleased to present this award to eMemory.”

Since eMemory and TSMC began working together in 2003, over 160 eMemory SIP have passed TSMC9000 IP compliance. eMemory has also completed 614 new tape-outs, and an accumulated total of more than 3.1 million embedded eMemory SIP wafers have been employed in a variety of TSMC’s manufacturing process platforms.
