Security

PUF stands for “Physically Unclonable Function”, a physically derived “fingerprint” that serves as a unique identity for a semiconductor device. Our PUF is derived from the unique and random physical characteristics created during the manufacturing stage of a chip. These physical variations are unpredictable and unclonable, all of which make our NeoPUF and PUF-based solutions ideal as a root of trust for security functions in semiconductor devices.

NeoPUF

NeoPUF is a hardware security technology based on physically unclonable variations occurring in the silicon manufacturing process.

PUF-based Solutions

Solutions embedded with NeoPUF IP can generate inherent and unique random numbers which can be used as UID, root key or nonce for security functions such as root of trust, key management, authentication and encryption.
