Touch panels (broadly classified into resistance and capacitance types) are widely used in IT, CE and industrial control applications as part of a complete touch sensing system that also includes a touch panel controller. Touch panel controllers calculate the location of a touch based on the signal output from the touch panel.

NVM is commonly used to record the component properties of individual products for trimming since the component properties of a touch panel and touch panel controller vary with changes in the operating environment and process shifts. eMemory provides a complete embedded NVM solution for touch sensing applications.
