OTP GHD has the same advantages and cell structures of NeoBit HD but at a smaller OTP size, lower masking layer, and shorter FAB cycle time, thanks to eMemory's unique "Green Technology".

Availability
NeoBit GHD products are manufactured with standard 0.18um logic process and are available in several foundries. NeoBit GHD has 0.18um back-rules with 3.3V only or 3.3/5V and 3.3/6V devices.
Advantages
The shorter FAB cycle time required as result of fewer masking layers helps reduce pollution resulting from the manufacturing process by as much as 30%. The benefits of this process have lead to the name "Green technology" and the GHD product series names. The smaller cell size of NeoBit GHD -- 0.8um2 -- further reduces material cost and waste.
Technical Principles
NeoBit GHD aims to provide ultra high-density memory IP (max 16M bits) with testability for code storage and parameter setting application. The IP structure is similar to OTP HD series but with 45% cell size compared to HD cell.

Programming voltage of 6.5V~7.5V supplied by external power is needed only during the programming period and some standard blocks include a power switch for more flexibility. Charge pumping is not available on standard NeoBit HD in order to reduce the size of the memory. Customized IP is available for users requiring charge pumping.
"Green Technology" is an innovative, low masking layer solution for mass production of eMemory’s NeoBit technology. This proprietary solution allows IC design houses to select a 1P3M process requiring only 15 mask layers at the 0.18 um technology node. This technology has 0.18um-like back-rules with 3.3V only or 3.3/5V or 3.3/6V device. The most attractive IP of this "Green Technology" is OTP IP with smallest cell size 0.8um2.
