Introduction

NeoROM Service converts NeoBit/NeoFlash/NeoMTP/NeoFuse silicon IPs to mask ROM-like characteristics for customers who require efficient product-level testing and inventory management when products move into mass production.

Technical Principles

NeoBit converts to NeoROM with one poly mask change. The conversion process is simple and cost effective. Customers do not need secondary IC certification for the same chip size. NeoFlash and NeoMTP can be used in similar applications and will offer similar advantages.

Advantages

NeoROM is fully compatible with logic and logic-based processes and requires no additional masking or process steps. NeoROM does not change standard CMOS process and thus requires no additional processing expenses. The simplicity and flexibility of the process make NeoROM extremely robust and also deliver higher fabrication yields. NeoROM minimizes testing time by as much as 90%, greatly reducing the time-to-market.
