eMemory Licensed Its Neobit OTP Technology to TSMC

Hsinchu, Taiwan - November 17, 2003 ¡V eMemory Technology Incorporation (eMemory) has licensed its Neobit OTP ¡V the embedded one-time-programmable memory technology to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd (TSMC) in the third quarter, 2003. TSMC is licensed for incorporating Neobit OTP technology in its industry-leading logic processes, henceforth being able to provide nonvolatile memory embedded semiconductor products with high performance, compact size and great competitiveness.

Combining TSMC's industry-leading process and eMemory's Neobit OTP technology, customers are awarded a reliable and performance remarkable embedded nonvolatile memory which is easy to be integrated into System-On-a-Chip (SOC), Micro Controller Unit (MCU), Radio-Frequency (RF) product and analog product designs.

eMemory's Neobit OTP has been fully qualified and well developed in 0.35 micron and 0.25 micron process generations in TSMC. In addition to providing silicon intellectual properties with comprehensive specifications continuously, eMemory and TSMC are now co-developing Neobit OTP in 0.18um, 0.13um process generation to meet application needs of the semiconductor industry for embedded nonvolatile memory.
